When you create an endowment fund with the Foundation for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington to honor a loved one or perhaps in memory of someone, the impact of your gift will last for generations. Donations to endowment funds are held for the long-term support of parishes, schools, diocesan ministries and other entities. Endowment principal is held in perpetuity while earnings are available for distribution pursuant to The Foundation's spending policy.
For more information on how you can contribute to any of our existing endowment funds or customize your own giving through your own named endowment fund please contact John French at (703) 841-3896 or john.french@arlingtondiocese.org.
The Foundation for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington operates exclusively for charitable purposes. The Foundation invests all donated assets. It follows an investment policy consistent with the Catholic values and practices recommended by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). All invested assets are managed by professionals and monitored by the Foundation Board.

View My GuideLongtime supporters of the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Susan and Charlie, have two goals: First, they want to make sure the CDA continues to receive support after they're gone. Second, they want to memorialize Charlie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
Susan and Charlie make a $25,000 donation to the Foundation for the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, which we invest, and each year, a portion of the income from the invested money will be used to support our mission in honor of the Joneses. Plus, Susan and Charlie qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction on their taxes.
